About Greenwich Criminal History

Greenwich criminal records are divided among town police and Connecticut agencies. Police reports stay with Greenwich Police, criminal dockets belong to Superior Court in Stamford, conviction-history products come from SPBI, and custody data comes from the Department of Correction. This private reference site organizes those separate routes without pretending they form one database.

Why We Built This Site

Connecticut abolished county government, so Greenwich has no county sheriff, county jail roster, or county criminal clerk. The town's General Services Division releases police records, the Judicial Branch keeps charge and disposition files, and the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, State Police Bureau of Identification operates the state repository. DOC and the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry answer different custody and registration questions. The site brings together verified contacts, request methods, fees, and search routes for those offices.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no affiliation to Greenwich Police, a Connecticut court, DESPP, DOC, or another government agency. Its limits include:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot file erasure or pardon applications, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the office that maintains a record, such as Greenwich Police, Superior Court, or SPBI, can issue or certify it. Information here is routing help, not an official record.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
